I love carbonated drinks, especially ones of the bitter variety. As an adult I’ve wanted less of anything super sweet and sugary, so I opt for drinks such as coffee, beer, and everybody’s favorite liquor: Malort. We were tasked to create a can design for any beverage idea we had (as long as it was non-alcoholic haha). At the time I was really craving a nice espresso tonic, thus Sprizzo was born.
A lot of inspiration was taken from Aperol, and other Italian based drinks/liquors. We started this in February, so the desire to sit out on a patio in 80 degree weather with an ice cold drink in hand was rather strong.
