This project focused on enhancing the social media branding for the Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition.
The primary objective was to achieve cohesive branding by ensuring all social media graphics aligned with the existing brand guide, maintaining a consistent look and feel. Additionally, the project aimed to elevate the quality of these graphics to a professional standard, enhancing the organization’s visual presence on social media. Another key goal was to create visually appealing and engaging content to increase audience interaction and engagement.
The approach began with a thorough review of existing materials. I analyzed the brand guide to understand the established visual identity, including color schemes, typography, and imagery. This analysis was followed by a review of the current social media graphics to identify inconsistencies and areas needing improvement.
Based on this analysis, I developed a design strategy that adhered to the brand guide while introducing elements to enhance professionalism and visual appeal. I created templates for various types of social media posts, such as announcements, events, and infographics, to ensure consistency across different content types.
In the graphic design phase, I designed a series of high-quality graphics using professional design software. These graphics incorporated brand elements and maintained consistency with the brand guide. The focus was on creating clean, modern, and visually engaging designs that would stand out on social media platforms.
Finally, during the implementation and feedback phase, I collaborated with the client to implement the new graphics on their social media channels. I gathered feedback from the client and audience to make necessary adjustments, ensuring the designs met their goals and expectations.
The project successfully transformed the social media branding for the Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition, aligning their graphics with their brand guide and elevating the overall quality and professionalism. This project showcases the ability to enhance existing brand elements and create visually compelling designs that engage and resonate with the target audience.
